Steven Speliotis first became recognized as a professional photographer in Boston, Massachussetts where his early photographs of dance & portraiture were exhibited in several juried shows winning him much acclaim as a photographer for the performing arts.
Speliotis also studied modern dance, yoga, sculpting and apprenticed his mentor, the late reknown dance/celebrity photographer Kenn Duncan. Upon Duncan's death in 1986, Speliotis moved to New York City to continue the Duncan legacy.
Speliotis Photo/ Video specializes in video and photography production for his client base in New York, London, Japan and Singapore and is presently working with: the Manhattan Neighborhood Network, PSProject Space, art galleries, book publishers, magazines, music producers, designers, cabaret & burlesque performers, publicists & dance companies.
Speliotis' portfolio consists of lifestyle videos, artists portfolios & interviews, short documentaries, commercials, actors headshots & reels, special events, music videos, album covers, stage and studio performance art.
His videos have received international recognition and have won, the Best Short Film, Kiel Film Festival, Germany 2008, A Book Trailer Award, Mobi Awards 2010.
